Fuel Moto's shop isn't open yet, and I need some information. The PV-2 cable that they sent me, that allows my PV-1 to work with my 2014 FLHTCU, has the connector mated with the 5 wire Auxiliary plug and not the 8 wire Data Link connector. On my 12 RKC, the PV cable plugged into the Data Link connector. Has anyone with this cable had this problem? Is it possible that there's a misprint in 2014 Service manual? It shows the Data Link Connector on top, and the Aux connector underneath. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I called Fuel Moto and the 5 wire connector located on the bottom of the left side caddy is the Data Link Connector. The 2014 service manual misprinted this information.

 

Does this mean you can use the PV on the 2014 models now?

 

As soon as you order the PV-2 cable. AND....Dynojet and FM come up with the software upgrade/update.

 

Fuel Moto said they hope to have the firmware update by the end of the week.

I ordered the new cable and it should be by thurs. I also need to reset my PV which I'll do tomorrow with them on the phone. I have a road king so it should be the same has the ultra.
