Default a few rear end options,,,,

Updated today I just installed the plasma rods and they are bright and I love the clean look of my backend.

I have got the yaffe plate holder on my '14 SGS and am waiting for the Custom Dynamic 8" plasma rods....
But in the meantime I mounted the towel/light bar down below.... I didn't like it so I put turn signal/brake lite led's under the saddle bags... They aren't bright enuf for my personal safety but I'm sure they make brighter ones. Thot I would ,,,,,,, RIDE SAFE, paul
towel bar below setup

led setup

Plasma rods from custom dynamics,,, man they are bright and visible..... this is the option I'm going with

Dig it. I actual thought of doing accent lights under the bags, but wondered about heat from the cans. Care to remember to check back in a little while to let us know if the heat is hurting the LEDS ?

Real Nice, butt all that light is down low. Maybe you could fab up an L or U bracket and add a light to where the seat screw is or another spot closer to line of sight>

If you want to try something different, check out Whelen Vertex led. They are 1 inch round and would fit nicely where those little plugs hide the antenna holes in the filler panels. They can be linked together and offer about 15 different flash modes or steady on,about $150 for the pair. They are bright and omni directional........
