Did you go with the bag lights and not the quick disconnect tour pak? I think they look great! Have the same bike you have in the same color.

Thinking of going with the lights only, like having the tour pak on the bike too much.

I ALWAYS have my thick Craftsman floor mat below them when I take them off now. $270 lesson learned quickly.

That 3M tape is strong as hell but it's met to hold the lights on the bags, not the bags on the lights.

Good point I think I will learn from your lesson as it is cheaper for me.

That's why Moco went with the bag lights.

I'm looking at getting the smoked lights. We'll see.

This picture is off of the HD web site, of the CVO roadglide.. They do indeed make something.

Yes, they do have ones like this. I was referring to the holes in the strip, which is too far behind the saddlebags. You are correct though, they do have them.

IMHO, the Motor Company places style over function at times with CVO's. Without question the CVO lights between the bags and fender looks the best; the lights on the bags work the best. Would not be surprised to see a chrome version of the filler strip with cvo lights to come out

Those are out a few inches from the "holes" in the chrome brackets underneath. They are at the same plane as the bags, so you would see them from the sides.

I installed these lights when I got my motorcycle in April 2014 and I thought that they might not hold because they were just taped on, but it has been almost a year. Its been hot and cold, in the direct sun light and they still are on tight. When I put the lights on they did not fit perfectly because the tape on the sides was too thick, they would have fit better if it was not so thick, but I held them in place till the tape stuck tight to the bag. Every thing just plugs together. I love having the extra light in the back for Brake and Turn signals.
I to have made the mistake of carrying the bags by hanging on to the lights because that is where I used to carry the old fiberglass bags, but I have changed my ways.

The Cvo lights are not mounted in the holes between the bags and fender that are tucked in a ways. The Cvo's are mounted in a flared out rear fender that come out flush with the bags, much more visible and more visibly appealing. You can get that also, it just costs about $950 and I believe that's unpainted.

I bought the qd kit which came with the saddle bag lights, easy install and bright as can be. They are growing on me. I liked the looks of the cd fillerz, but not really visible from the sides and to me the dealbreaker. Until something better comes along, I'll stick with what I have.

Btw, those lights stick real well.

I have the same bag lights and really like them. They are very bright and really increase visibility to the rear. Install was very easy. The only trick was getting the control box tucked in front of the battery. Once you see how it fits in, it's easy.

Do they make a modulator that will make them flash before applying the break light? My 05 and 09 did.
Thanks
