EBay has reefer coolers that have stainless lines & screw on fittings with no clamps. Anyone try these?

Cooler oil = higher PSI?

What do you guys think?
I would think the only thing that is going to cause a rise in PSI is a restriction. Generally the more distance you ask the oil to travel unrestricted, you are going to see a drop in PSI.

60 psi, heck even 55 psi is too high if you ask me. these engine do not have babit type bearing, they have roller bearings. No need for super high PSI.

IMHO the lifter benefit from a bump in PSI, but not to high.

On my build I just added the baisley spring and run 40ish PSI on the high side and idle at 15ish.

As for the leak, I'm not a fan of hose clamps on oil fittings, let alone on high PSI applications.

I modified my filter adapter to use AN fittings at both ends and had AN lines made up. No hose clamps.

Thank's, I realise that most people won't go through the extra effort or expense, but I'm very particular about my stuff.

I consider it a one time deal, I'll never think twice about the durability of those lines.

I picked up the parts from a local race shop, brought them home and figured the lengths then took them back to have them crimped.

I have had my Jagg 10 row cooler on my bike since 2004 and no issues whatsoever. You will notice a difference!

I'm about to install mine and took the OP suggestion and purchased the 140 thermostat from Wards. When I removed the thermostat that came with the Jagg Cooler, it's stuck on the end of the plug. I'm not able to put the wards thermostat on the end of the plug however. It's got what looks like a part of another plug sticking out the end of it.

Wards web site says that this is normal and to simply push that part back into the thermostat using finger pressure. I'm not able to do so. I'm wondering if my thermostat has an issue or I just plain missed something.

Thanks in advance for any help!
