Big Louie w/3.00" Baffles vs Stock Exhaust: Sound Clip
Want to hear the improvement just slip-on mufflers can make? Hear the stock exhaust and Big Louie back to back. Now you'll know exactly what to expect with this upgrade on your new 2014 Touring bike. Play though a speaker system or car stereo to get the full effect.
The Big Louie w/3.00" baffles (32001-300) is one of the most aggressive sounding slip on mufflers you can get on a stock 2014 Touring bike. The 3.00" baffle is only for cat back applications. No tuning is required but we still recommend it to improve the overall ride.
The sound was recorded with Zoom HD recording device placed just outside the open doors about three feet to the side. About 10 ft total distance from the muffler outlet. The gain was set and not changed for all recordings. No changes were made to the sound in post editing, just matched up to the video. Video shot with a basic GoPro. The hum is from the roller drum. 2014 Touring bike with stock engine and head pipes. It was below freezing outside and this was the best option for us at the time. Recorded during a performance workshop Rush sponsored at a local dealership. We showed the sound improvements the Big Louie can produce and discussed performance benefits of these and various exhaust systems including True Duals and 2:1 Wrath systems.
