Default Specialty tool rental ???

Is there a specialty tool rental anyone knows about ??

Specifically for the inner cam bearings.

To buy it looks like around 300 for a tool I am likely to use 1 time.

I would buy the tool then sell it on Ebay. You are not the only one looking for one of these. Probably one for sale there now. It's how I "rent" a lot of things LOL. Instead of having a bike shipped once i went to Home Depot bought a garden trailer for $800 and drove it home. Sold the "used once" trailer for $600. Much cheaper than paying a shipper.

$49

Heartland tools makes one for 110.00 incl bearings. I bought and used it then sold it.

The Heartland tool with bearings worked great. I just bought and used one on mine. Plan to keep the tool though as you never know, I may end up using it again someday.

I don't know about where you live but here on the right coast you can go to auto parts super stores (autozone, advanced auto) and get a loner tool for the job of pulling them out...and just use the cam to push them back in

Until the bearing falls apart and you have a few "needles" floating around in the oil pan. Buy right, buy once.

Again I will say this forum is incredible. I have forum members offering me the loan of tools and I will be taking the generous offer when I accumulate the parts needed to do the entire job. Thank you Forum, again.
