Default Always asking for help bang from the rear

Here we go again I have 12 street glide. I have a bang coming from the bike taking off hard and down shifting. Also have a strong vibration when hitting the rear brakes. Everything seems tight could this be the swing arm bushing. And how can check the swing arm bushing to see if its them. I only have 15k

Default Wheel Bearing?

If the rear wheel bearing is real bad, it can do that.

You should be able to look at it and see the problem if it's the right hand one.

Make sure this little button has not fallen out...Mine was in two pieces. That is the pull tail of the new one installed in the caliper at the far right in. Ihe large diameter is a bump stop in the stop arm where it slides

Make sure your belt is tight enough. A loose belt will make a popping noise on the late models.

Yup.....we'd do that!

cadilacjoe: I'd be glad to help you with that request for help banging from rear, but I'm trying to quit. Good luck on that one though!

Gipper, why would you quit banging from the rear?

CadilacJoe, sorry I inadvertently hijacked the thread (at least mildly sorry )
