Mine is not like that, and I never had to get used to it. For me, it`s still easier than a cable operated clutch.

This might not be the answer you are looking for but this is what worked for me... I have the Screamin' Eagle Race Clutch as recommended in my bike to handle the additional torque of my 120R. It is notorious as a brutally hard clutch to pull... and it is. Going through the gears isn't too bad but in traffic was just killer. One time I was to the point I thought my hand was going to give out and I was gonna pop the clutch and run into the car in front of me in traffic.

I rode it that way for a couple of years and my hand just got much stronger. Now it doesn't bother me at all.

Maybe just stick with your clutch for awhile and your body will adapt.

for small hands you should be able to find a reduced reach lever,it sits closer to the grip making it easier to get your hand around.

Your clutch should be easier than any cable clutch go to dealership and feel other touring bikes clutches and then ask them to make it right.
