Default Front End Rattle 1998 FLH Road King

Hi everyone, I need some help. I changed suspension on my dad's 1998 Road King Classic. We put on progressive 944 rears and progressive monotube fronts. After the install everything road nice and good. But now he complains of a front end rattle. It even makes this noise when sitting at idle in the driveway and then revving the bike. Any suggestions...

isolate whether this is rpm related or road speed related.

if rpm related, then maybe you left something loose.

if road speed related, then you know it's not a loose exhaust shield, motor mount etc

We need you to witness this rattle, so you can give us more details, or get your Dad to join, so we can talk to him! One possibility is the front engine mount is shot, so along with Mike's suggestion you can see we need better info.....

So we played around with the bike up on the stand and it looks like we might have found the problem. When we put the front brakes on the one clip that is spring loaded wasn't exactly in correctly. We have fixed that issue and are going to see if it helps.

It is deff RPM related not road related. The noise only comes on during decell after twisting the throttle.

I'm going to check motor mounts tonight, thanks for that idea. That might be part of the issue as well. The bike is 16 years old and rubber don't last forever.

Thanks for everyone's help.
