Default Crash bar removed

Been on since new... 2006. Slowly stripping it down.... Solo seat will be next.... Likely passing lights pulled later too.

3 nuts/bolts and a giant bar make a huge visual difference.

I took mine off too.... looks much better without it..

Just wait, any minute now the whiners are gonna chime in about safety and having the bike fall on your leg or all the damage you will do when it falls over...

They just can't help themselves.

Looks very clean without the crash bar.

And if you drop/crash the bike you will at least look very cool doing so.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Well, every bike I've owned (over the last 20 years) didn't have it.

Yes, they work. I learned that on my police wheel....I rode the bike to the ground, on its side with no damage to me or the bike

I'm going for fashion over function right now

Harley-Davidson refers to these parts as "Engine Guards" . . .

"Crash" is bad kharma.

that depends on which type of oil you are using?, if it's AMSOIL you should be ok.

That or you can throw your American flag "doo rag" under the bike as your crashing to insure less damage.

Works for me

Hey jack, it is your bike and your wallet that will suffer when the bike meets the ground.

Hope you get a chuckle as no offense intended !!

I do agree they look cleaner but where you gonna mount the lowers when it is cold ??
