Default Inner fairing/winshield brass inserts

Got a new Hogtunes windshield bag for my 07 Street Glide and have a chrome outer windshield trim as well. The screws seem too short to attach bag and trim but one of the brass inserts pulled out. Do I need longer screws to attach windshield bag and outer trim? If so does Harley sell them?

This is funny, just this afternoon I went to Harley in Nassau County and picked up 4 new replacement inserts to fix a couple of stripped/loose inserts. I don't have the part number handy but you can ask for them and they will know about them........... I replaced a couple already and they work great. remember the notched end goes in first. you'll know what I mean when you see them......

Awesome thanks guys, I was looking on Lowes and found these too.

But will prolly hit up the stealership tomm. Just not sure if they have longer round head bolts to fit or if my brass inserts were just shot. Ready to slap that bag on and ride!

Do you happen to remember the cost for the inserts?

Thank you.

Thanks to you and lithod02 for the replies. The H-D price is double the price of Lowes. Plenty of listings on eBay for us eBay shoppers and you can get a specialty installation tool too, though a flat-head screwdriver is probably all I need.

I counted the threads on the one from lowes for wood and they look more aggresive than HD ones which may or may not be better. I just want my bag and winshield trim to fit.
