try the newer ones ,if they feel to tall,go look for a gently used 06-08 they have the old style frame it is a bit shorter and narrower. and used bike values have hit a new low,low milage 06-08 are going for good deals.freind of mine is 5' nothing and she handles her sg no problem, added a rider backrest, makes it easier to back it up, and holds her closer to the bars. she also had the seat narrowed and lowered the front forks by 1 inch.

I am 5' 7" and love my Street Glide. Put the Progessive Standard 11.5 rear shocks and you will be fine. Your feet will touch the ground with the 11.5 shocks.

My 5'2" tall wife had one but medical conditions forced her to sale it but I got her flat footed by modifying her seat.

As other have said the street glide has one of the lowest seat heights you will find on a Bagger. If you need the seat a little lower C&C seats has a option that will lower you another 1 1/2 inches. The SG is about 27"
And the new Victory is 26".

Owned? Did you divorce her?

Make the dealer throw in the low boy seat or what ever its called. You should be good.

I just threw the tall boy on mine and I feel like its easier to touch the ground myself and I am 6'2". It is much more narrow in the front, that helps with the reach.

Well if you decide to go with a 14' SG I believe you can lower the front an inch for free, just FYI. That and a lower seat and you should be close to being were you need to be.

It can be done, but honesty I would look at a Softail. You will not need to modify much if anything to be comfortable at a stop on that bike. If you want, put hard bags and a fairing on a Deluxe. Will look just like a Street Glide.
