Default Suggestions on replacement batwing vertical brackets

I've already done a few crack repairs with kits on different parts of my 2009 bat wings internal vertical brackets over the years.

I noticed another crack starting last time I had the batwing off. I think this winter I'll just replace them.

I saw at one time some kind of replacement plastic abs brackets.
Can anyone recommend good replacement aftermarket brackets that have proven them selves?

Thanks

These must have been the "ABS" ones you saw. They are actually nylon.

Thanks Dawg. What do you think? What would you put on your bike as a replacement?

Yours should be the upgraded HD ones already as I believe they began using them in 09. If not, or even if they were, I would put in the upgraded HD ones. I would also try and figure out what caused yours to crack and fix the problem. I have different bars, 7.25 J&M speakers, an amp, tweeter pod, quite a bit of stuff on the fairing, etc. that adds up in weight and mine are still going strong and they are the older style. Those nylon ones may be strong and may work well, but I don't know much about them.

Just installed them on an '03 Ultra who had both support brackets and both speaker supports broken.
Took a couple of hours but the next time will be quicker, now that we know what we're doing.
Going to replace my '07 Ultra supports when winter comes, even though the brackets are fine.
They do carry a life-time warranty.

Thanks Dawg. At one time I did run hog tune speakers which had huge heavy magnets. Those caused the speaker brackets to break. I replaced those with upgraded hd ones. I don't really know what caused the vertical ones to start cracking aside from NJ roads cause I long ago switched to j&m which are light.
Thanks as always for your feedback.

Gus after you've got a thousand or so miles on those plastic ones let us know if you have any better or worse vibration issues of any kind. They look strong and I'm sure they are. Just wondering if you "feel" anything different. Thanks!

About 1,000 miles ago I put the orange nylon supports in my 04 cop bike. They took just a little longer to install but seem rigid. I would use them again.

I would stay away from the plastic abs ones Jim.

Dawg says that they're not abs but Nylon!
