Default LED headlights and driving lights

Just got back from a local bike week and man did I love the bikes with the LED headlights and fogs. Told my wife I would love to get a set until I saw the prices. WOW! It would run almost a grand for the HD LED 3 lights. I could see $500 or so but damn. I had tried the Truck Lite on my old Street Glide and did not really like it. I found it spread the light all over and it was actually harder to see than with the regular lights.

I'm going to add Truck Light passing lamps to my current set up.

I've been looking more seriously at led headlamps as well now that I have dynamic ringz but I have concerns about the performance of the trucklite PL7, mainly because of the poor daytime viewing angle others have commented on & I myself have seen. But did see what looks to be a fairly new light on the market, the maxxima mhl-07hilo. Can't find any reviews on this, anyone seen one in person yet? It seems like it would be comparable to the trucklite

Was thinking these lights. Compared to Custom Dynamics or headwinds setup. Seems like you get more for your money with this company.

I don't like HID lights. Always had issues with the igniter boxes

I also like the LED light but the price (IMHO) is ridiculously high.

I rarely drive in the dark so I can't justify the cost.

I do plan to replace my brake/taillight with either an LED or a BAL1 but the rest of my lights are staying OEM.

Check out the Daymaker Reflector, vs. the Daymaker Projector. The Reflector has a great light pattern, and is highly visible from all angles during the daylight hours, unlike the TL. It is quite a bit cheaper than the Projector as well. I love mine--best upgrade I've made to my bike!
