I like my heated grips so far. Haven't had to crank them past 3 yet and that's in 45 degree temps. Hope I won't have any problems with them.....

Used my heated grips today, did 300 miles R/T. Cold this morning, ice cold light snow and drizzle. I had mine turned up to 3, then had to turn them down to 2.
Had deer skin gloves on. They worked perfectly. I also have heated gloves and boot liners. Used the gloves on my GOLDWING, but I coulda used the boot liners today, but I left the cable home. I'm home now about three hours, and feet still tingling.

Gerbings heated clothing is the bomb!!!
what he said , plus you can move them to your next bike easier

I ride through the winter every year. I have heated gloves and a couple bikes with heated grips. I have found that the grips keep my hands warmer and I can use thinner gloves to operated the controls. Each to his own.

Not that cold in So. Cal. BUT wife is always cold. Got her a battery powered jacket liner and gloves. Offered to get her the heated grips, but with the jacket and gloves she is "toasty" when off her trike. Got an extra battery charging in the tour pack
