Had a local mech install new bars Wild 1 Chubby. Got the bike back and heated grips not getting to hot. Any solutions! will be bringing it back but hate to wait if it is something I can fix. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Unhappy Internal wiring and HD heated grips

Did he run the heated grip wiring internally? All Wild 1's chubby bars use internal wiring.

All the HD heated grips say you can't use them with internally wired bars. I'm not sure why. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Would, of course, take it back to indy. They didn't wire the grips correctly.

My heated grips never worked worth a crap - straight from the dealer on my 07 Ultra... I rented one that was an 06 and they worked great..

I think they pretty much suck - so basically - get you some heated gloves and forget them.
