Up at 0400 today stating new employment greeted with temp of -17 degrees you really have to Love it and I thought it was mid Feb. ride safe and think of old fearless in the deep freeze :icon_ cold:

 

Up at same time, thermometer mercury is -25*, this can stop anytime.

 

Well it is 5 degrees above zero where I live but happy to say I am not there. Spending a couple months in Punta Gorda, FL. The locals are complaining about the cold weather but it is supposed to be 75 today and we are going boating. Sadly I don't have my Trike with me but I won't make that same mistake next year when we come down here.

 

-4* here in eastern Ohio. Mid 30s in Alaska. 70 in Daytona. Heading south in a couple of weeks. I hear there is an arrest warrant out for Punxsutawney Phil. (groundhog)

Well it dipped to about 75 here today. Nearly had to go and put some long pants on for my ride. I can't imagine -25. I reckon I'd walk outside and fall stone dead.

 

25 here and going down to 7 Thursday morning. If I could find that fat Phil Groundhog, I'd shoot his lard butt. we may get snow today but will get freezing rain and sleet which kills power lines . Fill up car with fuel, Come on springtime. !

 

Today it is 2 degrees with 15mph wind and 30mph gusts plus 4' show on the ground. It will be a while before we see dry clear pavement never mind grass! Oh well it is winter.

 

Today was the coldest in two weeks ... 45 and overcast. My heart really goes out to you guys on the east coast ... I'd do the fall down dead thing too ... maybe with the gerbings I'd be okay ... need to get a wagon to carry around batteries though.

 

Over 80* again this weekend. Did just over 300 miles both days. Out to the high desert Saturday for breakfast, Sunday we rode to Ventura Harbor for lunch. Supposed to be in the low 80s the rest of the week!!

 

Rode from Fl west coast to Fl east coast for ice cream. 300 miles round trip. Just sayin. Saw on the weather channel something about snow up north. Gotta go up there someday to see what it looks like.
