Default Installed DK Lift Kit...one word~~~AWESOME

Called Monday and ordered the Lift Kit from DK. Was shipped out 2 day priority and received it on Wednesday. Installed it on Thursday, first ride today...

WOW

What a difference!! I felt it right away...The handling was smoother and much more responsive...The bumps "felt better" also!!

I am not a relative or associated with DK Products at all! Just giving my opinion!

If anyone is still thinking yes or no to this mod....DO IT!!!

I am posting 2 pics....I know they are different sides of the bike....but you can get an idea of the "lift"

The first pic is without the lift kit....

The rear ride height difference on your trike is pretty obvious. DK custom Products make some nice stuff that just plain works.

Even if the lift didn't improve the ride and handling, it would of been worth the money just to get the rear up ... Fat Bottom Girl no longer has a load in her shorts .. LOL .. the ride and handling are a big benny.

Put the DK comfort lift on my Freewheeler two weeks after I got it!! Big difference in ride...so my wife says!! I can tell that the bumps are not as harsh, and it does seem to handle corners better!!

Thanks DK Products!!

All you do is replace the shock plate with the DK version. Thats it. On a freewheeler it's 3 bolts on each side. 2 for mounting and one for the shock.

Does anyone have a picture of the stock mounts vs the lift kit mounts? I'm wondering if the previous owner put a lift on mine before he traded it back in with 225 miles. My stock mufflers are 5.5 inches off the ground at the tip and I have about the same amount of tire showing as the OP's after picture.

I had 5 inches of space before the DK comfort lift. 6 1/2 inches after the lift. Easier steering and the bumps for sure are easier. Was running 50 lbs of air in the shocks before the lift and now run 20 lbs of air in the shocks. Jim

I didn't think of the 40 lbs in my shocks. That may be part of the reason I'm at the height I am. My brackets are the same as the ones in the picture.
, so they are the stock ones.
