I like them on my 2015. Better than any Harley I previously had without it.

I have no prior trike to compare to, but I have no problem with them. I can still use the front brake lever to apply a little more if needed.

I had to lock up all three wheels on my Freewheeler this Spring, after an SUV stopped suddenly. It stopped in about 4 trike-lengths (from 30 MPH) and stayed straight. It almost threw me over the handlebars.

I'm a believer ~ linked brakes on my Freewheeler saved me a#%.

Had a Polaris Quad with linked breaks.... EXCEPT the lever did all the breaks, not the pedal. REALLY liked that.

Have gotten used to the pedal and pretty much only use the lever to hold at stops. I'm going to change the pedal to change the angle, ankle problems make it a tad uncomfortable.

The linked brakes are great for stopping power in an emergency situation, and also make good everyday braking easier. However, they are a drawback in aggressive riding where it is beneficial to use only the rear brakes sometimes.

I don't have to worry about aggressive riding. My back seat rider knows which parts of my body are most susceptible to pain while riding and makes use of them if she doesn't like something I am doing.

I can see this negative effect. Other than that, pretty much no bearing on me. I see it as MOCO forcing rear brake users to use the front, thus less warranty concerns on rear brake failures, premature abuse/wear(and using it as a sales ploy). I'm sure $$ was behind the change more than convienence/safety.

It would be really great for stopping power in a emergency if the oem pedal was in a decent position to reach instantly !!!!

I share the view on bad brake pedal position. I solved it with a 3rd party extended pedal. It drops the angle by 20 degrees and drastically improved braking comfort.
