Did not know about DK at the time I ordered, but I have ordered other things from both DKcustoms and Tglidestuff, and both are very good businesses. I would not be without the lift kit.

 

Does Harley try to void any warrantys after installing the lifts

 

I bought the regular dk lift I weighed everything we carry on the longer trips and were real close to the 540 limit for the comfort version. Thanks for the help

 

Theres hardly any way there gonna know unless you tell them..
And remember just asking most dealers if something will void the warranty , Will void the warranty..

I wonder what could possibly go wrong with the trike (and be a warranty claim) after fitting two pieces of metal that raise the back end, improve the steering and stop the mufflers scraping the ground?

 

My dealer installed my lift kit as well, and not only installed the kit, investigated what headers would fit with the lift kit for later. It is all up to your dealer if they will go to bat for you on warranty items. Mine went as far as saying if they ever had to have a regional rep come to review for an issue, they would change things that might cause concern back to original. That never had to happen of coarse. Only warranty issue I ever had was a horn, and compensator.

Miss mysterious has the DK Comfort lift kit on her and I love it...There are pros and cons for my part...Tri Glides 09-13 come out of the box hard to steer...14 and later a world of difference... I have a 15 and before it handled like a corvette and was tight in the curves...with the lift it rides smother and has more lean in the curves...my steering improved with the kit even on the 15 and even more with the 19" front wheel...
