Default DK Custom Pro-Action shocks

I just ordered a set or pro action shocks from DK Custom for my 2016 tri glide. I cant wait for them to get here so I can install them. If they are as good as what I have read about them I will be a very happy triker. I already installed the 1.25 inch comfort lift. it seemed to be a little better ride with the stock air ride but the big difference was in how much easier the trike was to maneuver in the curves. Any one else find the tri glide to ride rough and hard to maneuver?

Hard no.. Rough yes.. With 3 wheels on the ground you can't miss most potholes..

Great looking Tri but looking at the low profile tires that you are running, I think you will be hard pressed to get a decent ride regardless of the shocks you install.

If you would put the original profile tire back on you would be able to adjust the air a bit to soften the ride.
At the weight of the TriGlide you make just a 2#-4# change in the pressure on the original profile tire it makes a world of difference in the sidewall flex. With the low low profile tires you don't have a sidewall to flex. Looks like you have that problem on both ends.
Also the pressure in the shocks isn't just for the height adjustment, it is for the load applied to the system. That looks like maybe the pressure is high to get back off the ground. It might just be the low profile tires make it look that way.

As others have said, it's going to ride like a dump truck with those low profile tires. It looks like it's almost all rim and no tire, I don't think the shocks are going to help improve it much. It has to be a bone jarring and teeth rattling ride when you hit bumps with those rear tires and rims.

Hey, I get it! Sometimes we sacrifice complete comfort for "bling". I've got the Pro Action shocks and they are the best I have ever had on any bike.

Well you are making me laugh because the 2011 tri glide I traded rode three times worse with stock tires than this one does with low profile tires. Not sure what the difference is but this one is doable like it is. It may be the upgraded front forks? I'm just looking to see if it can be better. I will keep you posted. DK Custom said the shocks shipped today. If they come Saturday I will Install Sunday. I will keep you posted.
