Default Handle Bar Install

I have a question regarding handle bar installation. I am interested in changing out the bars on my 11' Trike to 12 or 14" bars. I have read numerous posts that states it requires a change to the clutch, brake cables and adding the throttle by wire extension. However, I can not find any information on what to do with the Reverse Switch Cable.
Does Harley sell a extension kit for the reverse switch or do I have to just splice in new wires?
Any help you can give regarding how to handle the reverse switch will greatly be appreciated.

thanks Mike

Default 2+2 wide sweepers

I changed to Khrome werks 2+2 wide sweepers 2" up and 2" back. Ended all my back and shoulder aches and pains. I ended up using a 6+ clutch cable. All other hoses and lines worked perfectly I needed to reroute the TBW but there was a lot of slack in the other wires for left and right switches including the reverse wires. I did not run the wires internally on the bars but you may need to extend if you do. the OEM bars are right on 30" wide my bars are 34.3 it is like adding power steering worked really great for me but as you know bars are a very personal thing, what works for one not so much for another. ride safely and good luck in your choice fearless

I changed the bars on my 2013 to the HD Bagger Apes; they are 12" I did not have to change any cables or wires. I did have to reroute the clutch cable outside the fairing. If you stay with 12" and want to keep the clutch cable in the fairing, you will need at least a +4 clutch cable; + 6 would be better.
