Default How many ride the Tri-glide

How many have a Tri-glide in the garage and what made you make the decision to buy one?

I don't, but a good friend of mine rides a Tri. He's paralyzed from the waist down- trike is all hand controls. He has a rack attached to put his chair, we ride together all the time.

Sounds like your friend has a very fast motorized wheel chair. Glad to hear he still rides.

1/3 mile of gravel. Doesn't sound like much, but in the spring it sucks, after a rain it's like snot. Gravel around here is not very good. Plus I have short legs. Now in the
spring, when the tar roads are good and I still have snow in the yard, I'm out riding.

I'd stop riding if I had to ride a trike. First, the cost. Second, they look scary to me.

After being away from riding for 30 years or so I bought a Sportster. The XYL and I rode some but she was never comfortable.

So I purchased a TriGlide and in the past 3 years we've put 24,000+ miles on it going from Calif to Idaho twice, Texas once, and Sturgis SD last year plus plenty of local rides.

We are in our early 70's. Many years ago we rode a Gold Wing and camped and cooked along the way. Now it is motels and restaurants.

When I ride solo I still prefer the Sportster but when 2-up the Trike is hard to beat.
