Has there been a poll to show the age of Trike riders ?
I did a search but nothing came up, just curios what the average Trike rider age is ? I'm 58 and starting to think about Trikes, next demo days I will try one. I have a 2010 Ultra that looks more like an Ultra Street glide since I have made some changes to it. I am only 5'7 and when I first got it I hated the top heavy feel of it. I ride solo 100 percent of the time so I stripped it down which made a big improvement. I still think I would like not having to worry about holding it up and turning in tight places, I also hate gravel. I'm still in pretty good shape with no knee problems so I might be Ok for a while but it's something to think about.

C908 u should browse around over at triketalk.com. A wealth of info on trikes including a post on age of trike riders. I spent a year reading posts before I took the jump to a Trike. My back and knees couldn't handle a 2 wheeler any more. So it was either stop riding or switch. . Since the switch we put over 10K on our Trike in one year. Be Safe....

All sorts of reasons why those who ride trikes, chose trikes. Age is only one factor along with riding experience and physical parameters. This is in no special order and not all will apply.
I'm your age but still ride both two and three wheels. This is my second trike. Have been riding since I was 16 and although I have signs of being rode hard and being put up wet I'm an avid Trike lover. Another factor is... I love blowing the socks off my friends in the mountains... Trikes RULE..

65 yrs old here and wife is 67. Age was not a factor w/going to a trike. Knees went bad
in 1993. Too many marathons ran and too many PT hrs in combat boots.
We went to three wheels in 1994 adding a Hannigan sidecar to our then 1500 Goldwing.
Harley ownership has always been on the bucket list, in November we bought a 2013, Vivid Black Tri Glide. It's great to still be able to ride and enjoy!

Me and Mary just turned 50; I'm 40% disabled because of a Knee injury while in the Army, so I had to go to a trike or stop riding... I traded in the RKC in November for the Trike and i'm having alot of fun and now Mary can look around without worrying about affected the bike.... It's the best thing I've every done regarding riding...

I'm 61 years young, been riding trikes on and off since 2003. Three Goldwing traikes and one Harley TG....I still have my 2012 SG next to the GW trike....
Trikes are cool and run the twisters like on rails....my wife will not ride two wheels anymore, feels safer on three....she drives the GW trike when I ride the SG and we can travel together two up on the trike...best of both worlds for us....
The next two weeks would be a great time to check out the trikes at Daytona if you can make to FL....
