I traded my 2012 TG for a '14.
1 Infotainment unit froze on me 3 times so far.
2 New battery had a bad cell and was replaced.
3 Just installed left and right floorboard extenders
4 Had lift kit on my '12 and will be installing it on the '14 soon.
5 Installed 3M film on fenders and forks (bought a roll 2' x 8' and made my own templates)
6 I hate the GPS system. I have a gas cap lid mount for my Zumo660(thank god I kept it)
7 Installed rear trunk bumper
8 Bought Anarchy wheels and floating rotors for summer use and kept stock wheels for winter/snow riding.
9 Bought Wiley Shiney baby moon hub caps for Anarchy wheels
10 Added CB- - - F%$# Harley for deleting it.
11 Hated to see CD player gone have tons of CD's now I have to sit around and copy them to mp3's. Damn!
12 Brought over Road Zepplin air seat from last bikes.
13 Most important item I have are the saddlebags (Costly but oh so convenient)
Other then the above the TG is completely stock.

Ok guys, I read all your good and bad on the 14. I'm thinking of buying one. I'v owned three wing trikes, springer, ultra glide and many more. Just can't seem to get away from the Harley. I'v been riding for 52 years. This will be my last ride into the sunset. Is the 14 worth the ride?

I intended to do do some minor mods and having the TG dyno'ed but the guy I thought would do it (Chris Rivas in Fresno) - can't do a trikes. His set up is for 2 wheelers. Any suggestions? Open to just about any CA location, especially in Central CA.

Yep, mines about stock too.

Sounds like you know how you want it set up.

I've never used GPS anywhere, anytime, I suppose I might learn how to use it on the TG.

I've been copying CD's to a mini mp3 player I picked up just for the TG...time consuming, but I actually like it better than the CD player.

Have fun!

I am very happy with mine. I had the 2011 before the 2014 and was happy with it. For me, the 2014 is a big improvement over what was already a good ride.

Do you already have a flash tuner? If not, why not use the auto-tune that comes with the Power Vision Package. Check it out HERE.

That is what I used on my 2011 and now on my 2014.

Here's a chart showing what kind of power I was getting out of my 2011 Stage 1 TG with 50k miles on it, tuned using the Power Vision auto-tune.

If you are locked into get it dyno tuned, I would find someone in your area that is really happy with their tune and find out where they got it done.

Another option is calling dynojet and finding out who has a Trike capable dyno in your area.

Go to the Trike Talk forum.
They have a thread solely for trike dyno locations.

My clutch is slipping at around 50 - 60mph in 5th and when I accelerate the revs rise but the road speed does not. Only done 350 miles and at the moment waiting for new clutch plates to arrive at the dealer.
I had the DK comfort lift fitted and it makes a lot of difference to the steering and the muffler tips don't ground like it did without the lift kit.

How so on the steering? Cornering or Highway straight away?

The Comfort lift makes the most difference at lower speeds, making less effort required in a turn. On the highway I can't tell much difference.
