2014 TriGlide navigation issue..help
Thanks all! Manual was "misplaced" within days of purchase. I'm one of those who reads the directions. Without the written directions, I wouldn't touch it. Issue has been addressed and we are very much looking forward to our cross country journey soon! Thanks again!
We are having an issue with the GPS on our new TriGlide. It will only navigate with North being fixed. Therefore, when we go south, the arrow points towards the gas tank. When we are (in reality) supposed to turn right, the GPS shows that we should make a left. We just had our 1000 mi. check up and they said they updated the GPS at our request but it still does the fixed North thing. Anybody have an answer or even a suggestion? We plan on taking a cross country trip soon.

There's two kinds of people when it comes to reading maps, I've found; the North-Uppers and the Map-Turners! Fortunately most systems allow both ways of setting it up. Me, I have to have North up, and the turns still make sense. The wife is just the opposite. Generally it seems to work that way with most men Northers and women Turners, but not always by any means. It must be something to do with how our brains work, that left/right thing.
Anyway, the Nav setup is split into two places; some of it is done under the home menu Setup screen (at the bottom of the scroll), and some is done from within the Nav section. You'll have to look around for it, but it's there.
