Default Confessions of a Chrome *****

So, like the title, rather than all at once I like to add to my pleasure over time. My addiction to chrome seems to have no bounds. My recent additions were focused on the wheels. After something I ran through in the Sturgis area put permanent stains on my wheels, I decided it was time to upgrade. But, the cost of the chrome wheels from HD was more than I could justify to my accountant (a.k.a. Wife).

Alas, I found recommendations for chromed core return wheels by ***** Shiny in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. His chromed OEM wheels are substantially lower cost than any other alternative. He is within driving distance from me. So, I drove to his shop and acquired: 2 chromed rear wheels, 1 chromed front wheel, 2 chromed front wheel spacers, 2 rear chromed baby moons. He also offers polished rotors, but I had previously purchased them from HD. Joe, expects you to return your wheels, etc, or else charges a core charge.

I decided to have my dealer do the install labor, which included mounting a new a Michelin Commander II tire, Lyndall Gold+ Brake Pads, Polished Rotors, Chrome Wheel spacers, new bearings, etc.

I am very happy the results and am very impressed with the chrome plating quality from ***** Shiny. He is very focused about the quality of his products, and the results show that.

Next, when my chrome ***** budget can support it, I'll be doing chrome lower fork tubes. For now, I think these upgrades are great! Check out the attached pic:

Hi my name is Russ and I am a chrome *****. Most recently I replaced the master cylinder cover with a chrome one. I am looking hard for a Roland Sands Nostalgia rear master cylinder chrome cover.

I confess I'm also a chrome addict! Can't help myself and I'm not looking for a cure
The wheels are on my " must have list" also...they sure look good and I've heard nothing but good things about ***** Shiny and will go with his wheels when my accountant says OK...
I have the chrome forks and you'll like the, too!
Good job

Hi. I'm Frank, and I'm a chrome ***** too.
I have been a closet chrome ***** for about 16 years. I would sneak parts
onto my bikes when no one was looking, and if someone spotted it and questioned me, I would lie about it.
Well, I've been caught, and was sent to rehab.
It helped, but didn't exactly cured me, now im mixing it up. Upon picking up
my new trike on August 29th, I had them add a BLACK luggage rack. Now im looking to powder coat my rear bumper.
I'm so ashamed

Hi, I'm CJ and I'm a Chrome *****.

TriGeezer, glad you were able to get them. ***** Shiny does have excellant chrome products.

I recently traded my '12 Trike for a '14 and that was the first thing I told the dealer would be swapped out to the new bike. They do look great with his baby moons.
