Default 06-08 flhx rims

Are the 16 x 3 rims that come stock on these bikes the same front and rear? Can I run a front rim in the rear?

I wrecked my rear rim, I can buy a 16 x 3 front rim cheap. Will it work? Is the front rim the same? Yes I will be putting the rear rotor, cush drive, and rear tire on it. Anyone? Trying to buy today.

Didn't i answer that question earlier this morning by PM?...They are NOT interchangeable!

Well...not without machine work that's wasted on a 16" wheel (because Rears are available). On a 18" rim...that's a different story.

Rear Has:
- Slightly wider hub
- Different bolt sizes for both pulley and rotor
- Offset (hub isn't centered within wheel)

You know why 16" Front Airstrikes are relatively cheap?...because very few people want them...they are undesireable.

Yes you did thanks, I almost pulled the trigger on a cheap front to run in the rear, Thanks again. Now I just have to decide if I want to invest the money in a stock rear or just upgrade to aftermarket bigger chrome wheels front and rear.
