I'm looking for opinions on tires for my son's 04 Heritage Classic.


Considering either Dunlop D402 front D401 rear (currently on the bike), Metzeler ME888s or Michelin Commander IIs.


No complaints with the Dunlops on the bike now but it's time for replacement.
I really like the ME880s on my bike (non-Harley) but see some recent issues mentioned here about the 888s.
Never used Michelins on any of my bikes but use nothing but Michelins on my cars.


I'm hoping to get some feedback from folks that have experience with a few of these tires.
