I got a 17x6 rear softail wheel with 200/55/17 HD dunlop. I measured it as 8" wide and the 180/16 on there is 7 1/4" for a 3/4" difference. There is 3/8" between the belt and 180. The belt seems to already be against the outside if trans pulley so it can't move over. All my measuring puts the outside of the tire and inside of the belt in the same place? How much clearance does there need to be? can I just take a 1/16th or so off the tire? Or space the wheel about 1/16 over? I haven't actually Tried to put it in yet just playing with getting correct/close spacers.
