The 64th Annual O’Reilly Grand National Roadster Show was held this past weekend (Jan. 25-27, 2013) in Pomona, CA, and while the show is a haven for hot rods, rad rods, classic customs, and wild builds, it’s also a place where custom motorcycles come to be admired, and compete for the title, “America’s Most Beautiful Motorcycle.”
Sam Baldi is no stranger to the title, with two prior wins under his belt, but that didn’t rob him of his joy when his latest bike, “Lost Angel” won this year’s award.
The customized Harley took nearly two years to complete as the crew searched for a theme.  Devastated by a family tragedy, Sam also found inspiration and a way to honor his family’s loss in the bike. Builder Jimmy Todorovitch and painter Alberto Ahumada helped Sam realize his vision.  “Lost Angel” also won Best display, Best Engine, and Best Engineered Awards.
In addition to Sam’s bike, head over to the Forum and check out some of these other customs that were on display at the show!
