Custom Harley ‘Psychoholic’ Is a Little Crazy, and We Like It

Custom Harley

This bike is unapologetically loud, brash, and fast. What’s not to love?

Some folks think that anyone willing to ride a motorcycle has to have a little bit of crazy in them. After all, barreling down the highway at speed with little to protect you isn’t the most sensible thing in the world. But we guess they’ll just never understand the appeal. Or the risk/reward concept that accompanies most everything in life we consider fun. This is especially true when it comes to wild, built, custom Harley bikes.

Custom Harley

Bikes like this appropriately named custom Harley “Psychoholic” that we spotted recently on Reddit. Now, if you’re not familiar with that particular term, it literally means having a dependency on the mentally unstable. Or, if you’re a fan of the genre, a term used to describe hardcore fans of the heavy metal band White Zombie. Which itself comes from the title of the first track on their third album.

Wherever the inspiration for this bike came from is moot, really. Because even though it’s a little crazy, we like it. Kind of like that girl we’ve all dated once in our lives that obviously had a screw loose. She might have keyed your car in a fit of rage, but you just kept going back for more.

In this case, Psychoholic won’t do you wrong if you treat her right. It sits on a solid linked Atlas big tube Softail frame. The four over DNA springer features a 34 degree rake for a wicked stance. And the rear tire might be huge, but it still has a hard time hooking up. Mainly because power comes from a built Ultimate Evo 120. A lot of power.

So, call us crazy if you’d like. But we feel like life is best lived on the edge, at least every once in awhile. And we imagine that the owner of this sweet, slightly crazy ride feels exactly the same way.
