Daytona Beach, FL K9 officer Jack Murray also patrols for Daytona International Speedway, riding a custom police bike, and rides a Road Glide for pleasure when he isn’t on the job. His wife also rides, and has a new Harley-Davidson Street 750.

Riding is a Lifestyle

Jack has been riding Harleys for more than 20 years and has gone through 8 or 9 different bikes, and he has been coming to bike week since he started riding. He really is living the dream a lot of us have, he gets paid to ride a Harley, and he lives right there in the heart of Daytona Bike Week. Here’s one police officer who you don’t have to worry about harassing you just because you are on a bike. Chances are, if he wasn’t on the job he’d be out on his bike blowing off some stress on his Street Glide.

Controlled Chaos

Jack describes the excitement of Daytona Bike Week as “Controlled Chaos”, but he means that in a good way. “There is people going everywhere… There’s motorcycles going everywhere. You got people with crazy custom bikes… You got people with regular stock bikes. It’s a really good mix… you get to see a lot of different things.”

You can watch the whole video and hear everything he has to say here.
