Ready to experience some virtual velocity? Harley will be test driving LiveWire VR experience at Laconia Motorcycle Week, June 10-15.

We know a lot of people have some very strong opinions about the LiveWire, Harley-Davidson’s all-electric motorcycle. Some people are excited. Some are feeling a little dubious. And then there are those that…well, they’re not happy. Of course, at this point it is mostly just speculation until we get a chance to actually ride.

In an effort to give Harley riders a taste, the company recently announced on Twitter that they will be bringing the LiveWire virtual reality experience to the people. And there is no place better to find true-blue Harley folks than at Laconia Motorcycle Week in New Hampshire, running June 10-15.

The LiveWire VR experience gives riders a chance to experience the handling, power, and build quality. The company has started rolling out the VR experience at a few events, including the Quail Motorsports Gathering earlier this month in Carmel, CA.

We’re not sure if this simulated drive will be enough to convert everyone, but it does give us a chance to see the LiveWire up close and give it a good giddy up. And we’ll be honest, from what we’ve seen so far, we are fairly impressed. In Harley we trust.

Laconia Motorcycle Week is a rocking rally that will feature racing, rides, music, swap meets, and a huge crowd. Harley will be on hand with the 2019 lineup on display, and will be offering free demo rides to attendees.

If you are looking to hop on the LiveWire, give Harley a follow on Twitter. And who knows? Maybe Harley just might change a few minds when folks get to see and experience the LiveWire.
