Harley-Davidson Experience Tour 2023 Has Started!

The Harley-Davidson Experience Tour gives fans the chance to test all the new bikes. There’s just one small catch…
The latest Harley-Davidson Experience Tour kicked off March 10th, and the traveling show will be packing some of the hottest bikes in the MoCo’s lineup. It’s a great opportunity to check out all the new hardware without the pressure of going to a dealership. And unlike a dealership? Nobody will be trying to sell you anything. Test rides are the whole point here, and better still, it’s totally free. There’s only one small catch — you’ll need to be in Spain to attend any stop on the nine-stop program. Yup.
That said, Spain rules, and if you’re over there — or will be visiting — not taking advantage of it would be a bonehead move. Of the bikes available, I’m most curious about the Pan America 1200 Special. Given the enthusiastic critical response, competitive pricing, and beefy good looks, this baby checks a lot of boxes for me. I’m also really curious about the industry-first adaptive ride height feature, which automatically adjusts based on whether the bike is in motion. Because while I’m over six feet tall, and able to flat foot anything I want, it’s still a neat bit of tech.
The other bike I’d love to throw a leg over is the Sportster S, as I dig low-slung stance and high pipe combo. Since I live in Los Angeles, I’d be very attentive to how hot the exhaust is, as I’ve heard people with scrambler-style setups complain about roasting themselves. Of course, the big draw with the Sportster S is the 120 horsepower and 94 lb-ft of twist on tap. That’s a lot of poke, and given the linear power delivery of a big twin, riders should be able to take advantage of every pony. I’d sure as hell try.
Unfortunately, Harley won’t be bringing the one bike I’d really like to see roll out of Milwaukee. That would be a low-cost scrambler which looks like the XR750, and undercuts offerings from Ducati and Triumph. Slap a vintage livery on those babies, and I think Harley wouldn’t be able to sell them fast enough. Maybe I’m crazy?
The dates and locations for the tour are listed below — if you managed to make it, make sure to post about it on the forum!
Seville (March 17 to 19), Alicante (March 24 to 26), Valencia (March 31 to April 2), Barcelona (April 14 to 16), Madrid (April 21 to 23), Porto (June 9 to 11), Algarve (June 16 to 18), Girona (September 8 to 10), and the Basque Country (September 15 to 17)
