It’s Official: Harley Toplines Pendleton Bike Week 2017

Oregon’s Summer Event to Feature Full Line of Harleys, including New Milwaukee-Eight Engine

Great news for Harley-Riders: Pendleton Bike Week will be better than ever this year now that it was announced today that Harley-Davidson is officially the title sponsor of the mega-popular biker event.

Happening July 19 to 23 at the Pendleton Convention Center in Pendleton, Oregon, the meet-up will include some very cool Harley exhibits and showcases, including two factory demo trucks so riders can experience the performance of the company’s full line of motorcycles, including the new Milwaukee-Eight engine.

“Pendleton Bike Week is the fastest-growing motorcycle rally on the West Coast, and Harley-Davidson brings a lot to the table,” says Eric Folkestad, one of the organizers of Pendleton Bike Week.

Located along Interstate 84 at the base of Oregon’s scenic Blue Mountains, Pendleton has become well-known as a hub for motorcycle touring. So, of course, it is the ideal setting for a summer party for motorcycle enthusiasts. And based on advance ticket sales, organizers are reporting that attendance is on track to double this year over 2016.

“Harley-Davidson is honored to be the title sponsor of Pendleton Bike Week,” says Chris Kutsch, Project Manager of Harley Davidson Events. “We are looking forward to rolling out west to Pendleton, and think it will be a great event for riders and non-riders alike.”

Pat Beard, Event Recruiter for Travel Pendleton, is also jazzed to have Harley become a major part of the city’s most exciting summer party. “Riders are passionate about great motorcycles, and Harley-Davidson is an iconic American brand,” says Beard. “Having the opportunity to ride these new bikes and talk with factory reps is amazing. The city of Pendleton is buzzing with excitement for this year’s event.”
