This is a big year for motorcycle lovers. Not only does 2015 mark the 75th running of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, but it’s the start of Harley-Davidson being the official motorcycle of the event for the next 75 years.
Although Jerry Savoie of Savoie’s Alligator Farm Suzuki took the top spot at this past weekend’s Toyota NHRA Summernationals in New Jersey, that doesn’t mean all is lost for Harley-Davidson.
If you take a look at the first-quarter financial statements Harley-Davidson recently released, you’ll see some shallow valleys in their landscape of numbers. However, if you wander far enough across the land, you’ll come upon a deep crevasse.
