Throwback Ad: Harley-Davidson Road Glide Returns

Welcome to the very first edition of Throwback Thursday for 2015! Happy New Year everyone may it bring you better times than last year!

Since this is the first Throwback Thursday of the year, we are also going to break the rules for the first time this year.

Normally we do a vintage ad focused on some point in history that was interesting. Today we wanted to showcase the return of one of HD most iconic models for 2015 and a model that is unique to the HD line. Technically Kawasaki makes a frame mounted fairing bike but let’s be honest it’s ugly and not in the same league as the Road Glide.

The Street Glide may be HD’s best selling bagger but for me it’s the Road Glide. The lighter handling chassis with all the same amenities and those dual headlights just works. For me the aerodynamics are better as well. I’ll take mine in Blue and see you on the road!
