Will This “Flike” Become the Next Motorcycle?

Every year since Star Wars came out, people have been saying that we’re just about to have either our own personal jet packs, or speeder bikes. It never fails that someone, somewhere is proclaiming the future is just around the corner. Yet, inevitably, nothing ever amounts to these claims and we all go back to riding motorcycles which are about as close to speeder bikes as we are about to get anytime soon. Or are we?

This is the Flike and according to its creators, this is the future of speeder bike, I mean hover technology. The Flike is made by Bay Zoltan Nonprofit LTD, which sounds like the fake name for an evil corporation hell bent on destroying the world’s atmosphere for lizard aliens, but they claim they are just a cool tech startup company that wants to make all your Star Wars dreams come true.

The Flike essentially is a hovering tricycle with three rotors that help support the rider hovering across the ground. And recently, they set the Flike on its first ever manned test flight. Check it out here and I have to ask, would you all ever trade in your two wheels for three rotors that hover?
