Just had Xpel self healing clear mask(Bra) done to my bike. Looks great. Hope to make some long trips this year and the bike just looks so good now want to keep the chips away as long as possible. Want to see how this stuff works--With only 60 miles so far, now that its protected-I can finish the break in. When I went in to check the guys out before commiting to having them do my bike-they had a New Indian in also having it done to it also. They do cars also---I may have them do the wifes car also. This was the first 14 Ultra Limited they had done so they made a pattern from my install.

I've had many cars clear bra'd including black, white and silver paint. It does protect very well but keep in mind that it gets swirl marks VERY easy. Swirl marks show up the most on clear bras over black/dark paint colors so although you're protecting against chips, you'll have to deal with paint that looks less than perfect once those swirl marks start appearing. Just clean it carefully and keep a good coat of wax on the clear bra itself. 3M has the best of all the manufacturers IMO. Also, some of the lesser priced clear bras turn yellow rather quickly and that will show up on the lighter colors, especially white.

I have one on my white truck. Still noticeable. I think it will look like this on a black bike.

I used the HD pre-cut clear stuff for the tops and fronts of my RK saddlebags and the front fender.

I had my 3M installation guy do it because he has done such a good job on other vehicles. Plus, I had him put 3M on the sides of the gas tank where my legs might rub and where the seat cushion rubs on the tank.

The 3M stuff can be buffed and treated just like paint but he said don't do it on the HD stuff you get through the P&A catalog. Said it was a different company and could not be waxed like 3M can.
