What K&N # are you guys using? I contacted them & they told me they don't have a filter out for the 2014 Ultra yet.

Thanks

The reply I got from K&N was they don't plan on making one for the 2014 tour's.

No affiliation but I just received my new PV-2 tuner and Hi Flo Pro Billet Air Cleaner kit (uses stock cover) from FuelMoto. Air cleaner is $72 if you buy with the tuner. Also bought the Jackpot 2-1-2 stainless steel header pipe. $1075 total on my door step. Can wait to get them installed.

What are you doing with the mufflers?

Here is what the K&N Rep wrote

"Dear Valued Customer,
We do not currently make an air filter for your vehicle. When developing a new filter, we rely heavily on local vehicles owned by K&N customers willing to lend us their vehicle for research and development. We have not yet had the opportunity to test fit a filter for your application.
Further, I do not have any information regarding if/when a K&N filter will become available for your vehicle"

Anyone want to volunteer?

Thanks!
Make sure that the de-catted header is modified properly. A window should be cut to remove the cat material instead of cutting the pipe in half because there are known fitment issues when the mod is performed by just cutting the pipe in half. Also make sure that the extended pipe inside the cat area stays and is not cut off flush. If that pipe is removed then the 02 sensors will cross talk. The 02 sensors should not be able to "see" each other. Also make sure that when the modified header is welded back together that stainless steel filler is used and that it is TIG welded, otherwise your weld will start to rust.

By the way, I have a nice used, properly modified decat header for sale in the classifieds.

I cut my cat out by cutting out a panel on the side of the head pipe. I also ordered a Arlen Ness big sucker from Amazon, which initially I was sent the wrong part. I called Arlen Ness and they found me the right part numbers for my 14 RK. Even though they don't have them specifically for the 14s yet. The 13s do fit, just need the right number. They have one where you can use the stock clam shell cover also.
