Mine does. I just put the girlfriend in to make sure.

Crap, I forgot to let her out!

Here's my solution. An battery operated light strip from Home Depot, they came 2 in a pack and I probably paid about $9-15 the pack. Some heavy duty Velcro, and now all my buddies have them. The only downside is the duct tape is there to keep the light unit from separating from the base while riding due to vibration. Has been on now for 6 months and about 7,000 miles and hasn't separated nor have I had to replace batteries yet. Many others have similar setups. This was my solution. Sorry, I don't have time to figure out how to make it smaller.... but you get the idea. While it looks crooked, it's following the line of the top of the tour-pak and it turns out to be the flattest surface I could find. When the lid is open you a) don't notice, and b) it looks as if it's meant to be there (minus the duct tape!). Push on, push off.

Yup, I did the same thing, just a smaller one

Here is my solution. Works for every part of the bike:

I thought about adding lights too. Ended up buying small LED flashlight (2 for $10) at Home Depot and put it in the pouch

They shut off after like 2 minutes. So no, not like a fridge, but yes, automatically.

I had the TP/SB lights on my '11... loved them.

I want to add them to my '14, they're on the list, just not at the top.

The link doesn't list the TK as fitment, Not sure why, but a man could assume it would work.

I just stuck one of these on the lid of the Tour Pak.
It shines down onto the contents when turned on.
It has come in handy a few times.

I have the H-D battery powered one, not real bright but better than nothing. Have used it a few times, held on by Velcro so you can pull off and use where needed.

Your right I once locked myself in the fridge to see if the light would go out but when I closed the door I couldn't tell because it was too dark. LOL

I used these on my Goldwing. I haven't bought any for my Limited yet. I've only had it a month.

They work really well. They are kind of expensive but built out of metal, have circuit boards and use AAA batteries. There is also an on/off switch if you don't want them coming on every time you open the trunk/saddlebag. They are LED and really bright.

The thing I like about the HD lights is they are wired to the bike, and only stay on a minute or 2.

NO batteries.
