Where to mount GoPro?

A. I don't wear a helmet... don't think that adhesive would last long on my bald melon.
B. I get seasick watching helmet-mounted recordings. Personally don't like them.
That's more what I'm looking for... I like the low shot vids. But I also like the ones on a boom mount where you can see the rider and the road.
I think this camera is like a Harley... it's only the down payment

I made my own from a 4 1/2" diameter hose clamp with a piece of stainless tig welded to attach the camera mount to. Then put on the upper fork. Very similar to the hog collar. Very little vibration and controlled by the WiFi remote mounted on the inside of the fairing.

I use the Ram Mount pieces and have had no problems with them being 'fragile' in any way. The GoPro is on my bike almost every time I ride.
I had it mounted on the left handle bar with a U clamp, but changed to under the mirror stem. When I mount the windshield I switch to the 6" mount so that the camera is next to it instead of looking thru it. I also used it,with great results, on a rented EG.

Pine Mountain is about 70 miles long, running from the "Breaks" near Elkhorn City, KY to Cumberland Gap.
I lived on Pine Mountain for 5 years.... not far from 119 where that vid was shot.
That section is what the locals call "Pine Mountain", and it is, but not the only crossing. 119 is a great ride, I bet I've ridden that piece of road 1,000 times. I you took 119 towards Jenkins, then 23 up and over the gap, I lived on the Virginia side,
Thanks for sharing! and a good choice of songs for me....

Small nylon thread from the GoPro case to the turn signal for that. Barely visible in the top photo. Mounted on the right fork so I can power it from the accessory power on the fairing.
