Default Plate Relo, New Seat, CVO Dash, and Chrome galore!

Sorry to post and show all my new goodies but I'm super excited about it and wanted to share the evolution of a 2014 FLHTK. I'm really pleased with everything.

Nothing better than new chrome...except when it comes time to clean it! Very nice.

Looks good, the carbon fiber dash was a nice touch it matches the center line of the seat.

Any chance next time you have your tour pak on you could snap a picture with that seat, I added a pak to my SGS with the SG CVO back rest that matches that seat just curios how it would look.

I knew I was gonna get that question and I don't have the answer for you yet. It was done at Faribault HD here in Minny. I texted my guy down there and he said its a full custom setup with multiple parts. Its a LED plate and had to be wired in somehow then I added the LED tail light and all kinds of crap. I will have the build sheet on it Tuesday and I will have him walk me through the whole thing so I can communicate it. I wasn't about to be the one to drill through my rear fender and wire up some lighting....so I left that one to the pros.

That black bracket in front of the caliper was the first thing I saw when he sent pics today. It's part of the ABS and it has to be there. I told him it was hideous and I couldn't stand looking at it. He called me back a half hour later and apparently the CVO has the same part but it's either chrome or that silver power coat...anything will look better than the black. So he's going to pilfer a part from a CVO and throw it on for me. I was NOT happy with that ABS chunk of black. yuck.

Looks great! Was hoping you can point me in the right direction as to where you got the CVO dash inserts. I called Harley and they told me I had to order the whole gauge. They wanted $200 for the speedo and about $100 for each of the other 3 gauges.

Was it difficult to change the inserts?

I'm very interested in the plate relo. Best I've come across yet. Look forward to the scoop!
