As someone said before. I put all my shields on before installing the head pipe. Left the clamps just loose enough that I could move the shields alittle if needed. After snugging up the head pipe I then tightened all the clamps for the shields. Done mine on the ground also really wasn't a bad install. 4inch rineharts to finish the deal. Sounds great to me.

For me - It was easier to insatll the shields indoors with the chrome laying on a foot stool in front of my chair. The shield are like 220 degree so wrap around pretty far. Also you may find fitting the clamp thorugh can try your patience so inside on the furniture is a safe place to move things around and not scratch anything. The ony place you may need to move a heat shield is to get your socket on the (2) 1/2 nuts at the head ports.

I just pulled mine back off last November to install new cams, I didn't need to loosen any shields to remove andput back on.

I ran my rear o2 sensor wires down to the front wires and back. You have to remove the plug from its holder in order to do this tho. But you don't see the wires.

I've been trying to move mine around to make it less visible but it's not long enough to run it all the way down to the bottom.

I just installed my VH PD's on Friday night. Start to finish was 4 hours.. OK there was beer involved with the install. So you can take 1.5 too 2 hours off for beer brakes and BS time with my Brothers who came over to hang out.. Was not too bad to install no issues other than I need to adjust one muffler because its sticks out about a 1/4" more than the other. That was the beer... LOL

I'm about 3 hours in now, probably another hour to finish it up. Maybe I'm not doing too bad.

This thing is loud as heck in the garage! More than I was expecting! Love the look for sure though. Here's a before and after shot:

I had some issues mounting the power duals to my '14 Limited. The tranny bracket did not line up properly. Didn't really know how much it was off until I took the bike for dyno tune and it showed an air leak at the head. I had to remove them and enlarge the tranny bracket hole to make them seat properly. Hope your install went better. I've installed dozens of pipes before, never had that happen.
