Adding baffles to CFR's
Hey Fellas, I've done some searching but trying to get more specific info. I couldn't find that CFR makes their own. Are there universal fit baffles or are they specific to a brand of head pipe/muffler? I'm planning on using the. S&S power tune head pipes which I think is going to be a bit loud for me, so I'd like to have some baffles at the ready if that's the case. - Thanks.

I went through the same thing. I found out about a reputable company called Big City Thunder, who make a Baffle called the Monster baffle. They actually insert into the end of your header pipe just after the point your CFRs slip on. These things are amazing. I got every bit of back pressure back and the bike runs fantastic! They have the standard Baffle and they also have a QQ version, which quiets the exhaust down a bit. I have the standard version. Call them and tell them which header you're using, they should be able to tell you the proper baffle for the exact fit.

Love the sound, I need more back pressure for the low end torque that was lost.
Heck even the high end torque that was lost.
The Andrews 57h came on like a freight train at 2600ish rpms,
now i feel no change with the CFR's.
I have to change my riding style, not even looking forward to 2 up.
Feel like I have to ride my clutch now from a dead stop just so I dont stall it.
Has anyone tried any baffle work to get back low end torque?

I'm sorry for the delayed response guys. Not the Baffle I used from Big City Thunder. However, they do have what they call a QQ baffle from the same company that will quiet down the CFRs a few decibels.
Definitely worth looking into these if you have CFRs or looking into them.
