I use a GoPro Rollbar mount clamped around my passing lamp.

Works like a charm.

The turn signal is still very visible, as if the camera isn't there.

From the angles you posted, sure looks like it's blocked a fair amount. Watch those right turns...

Did you not read what I posted?

From the front, you cannot tell the camera is there, the light looks like it is blocked, but I assure you, there is plenty of light from my CD RingZ.

Never thought of that - will take a look. So you used the 'standard' crash bar clamp from Go Pro .......... but replaced one of the bolts/nuts to clear the fairing. Hmmm, interesting.

One thing I like about mounting it on the crash bar is being able to see if the camera is filming, and to be able to turn it on/off while seated on the bike. (Yeah I got the remote, but battery lasts longer without the BT connection.)

I read it, even looked at the pictures...I wouldn't even be partially blocking a blinker. Your bike, your call...

I order and installed this RAM-B-149Z-GOP1U
on the engine crash bar on my 2015 Limited.

I'm getting way more vibration at highway speeds than the 'stock' GoPro crash bar clamp had on my Road King.

Here is a 3 minute video sample of using the Ram mount :

Do I simply need to make it tighter ? The twist **** clamp is darn tight and so is the screw holding the camera to the Ram ball.

I did put some duct tape around the crash bar AND it put some shrink tubing on the U-bolt itself .................... maybe I need to tighten that up more, but feels pretty solid.

For those using this Ram mount, please advise.

Yep, why Safety Man doesn't run it there either. I had the same issue on my FLSTC and found I could get nice video if I kept my foot on the highway pegs with a little pressure. I will most likely mount mine in the same location as Safety Man's.
