Default Thinking about upgrading my FLHXS headlight...

Thinking about upgrading my stock headlight on my FLHXS to a Daymaker.

Are the later versions, 2015 CVO etc, really that much improved? I kept waiting to upgrade then changed bikes, but remember the love/hate debates on the earlier versions of the Daymaker.

Thoughts?

I for one have the LED cree sirius h11's on mine. VERY bright and $75. Search this forum on them before making your decision.

I did the Evo 2 and love it. I live in the country and deer are everywhere.

Brother in law did the truck light 7 on his, blows the day maker on my ultra classic away. He added the aux lights like the ultra and limited and also put the Kuryakin lights in them too. Awesome set up.

There are two different Daymaker lights...I find the projector style to be underwhelming but the Daymaker projector is a great upgrade. Love mine--great visibility at night and during the day to make sure you are seen by other drivers.

Probably the single greatest upgrade, you can do to your Street Glide. It's so much brighter and cleaner than stock.

Jw Speaker evo2, truck lite phase 7, Primo Rivera. Those are in my opinion the best led lights on the market and way cheaper than a day maker. Do your own research and decide which you like.

If I had to do it all over again...I'd elect HID over LED. They're (1) MUCH cheaper, (2) equally to MORE bright, and (3) EASY to install. Installed a set in my 2006 Chevy Colorado and ordered this kit for my 2003 XL1200S.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I should have also noted the price is kind of a brother in law deal on the price ~$150 bucks. Figure I can't go wrong on this one vs stocker.
