Bluetooth and Pandora problem

Bluetooth and Pandora problem
When I first got my bike I had no problems with my phone connecting via bluetooth with Pandora. Now, it will still connect, but after about 5 mins of play it starts to sound like it is a cd skipping. At first I was able to switch to FM for a minute and it would work fine, but now that isn't working. I would say it is my phone, but I can go down the same roads in my truck with Pandora playing from my phone via Bluetooth and have no problems at all.
Anyone else having this problem and have you found a cure?
I am in the process of converting all of my CD's to mp3, but the GF doesn't always like what I listen to lol, this is why I would like Pandora to work.

My experience with Pandora says that the quality of the signal that the phone is getting is ultra critical. Just the position in/on the bike or car can make a huge difference. It's also a zero sum thing, in as much as you either get tunes . . . or you don't. The effect is that the music starts and stops (skips) randomly. I'd suggest two things: 1.) Try moving the phone to a different location and 2.) Set the Pandora Quality to it's "Low" setting. On the bike it'll be hard to notice the degradation in the quality of the tunes, such as you might notice in a quieter environment, but a weaker signal (data stream) may be able to keep up better thus reducing and/or eliminating the skipping. Where I ride around Los Angeles there's no problem. But move into the Santa Monica Mountains and I get the skipping you mention . . . even though I still have enough signal to make and receive phone calls and text messages.

I didn't even know you could change the sound quality on Pandora. I found it under settings and it's already on the lower quality. I usually keep the phone in the glove box right in the fairing. The biggest part i don't understand is why it works perfectly in my truck (2014 gmc), but not with the bike; and it seems like it has gotten worse with the bike.

With Spotify it shows the song info, but still cuts out like Pandora. I'm just gonna have the girlfriend put together a playlist and put it on a separate usb drive. I did just do the 1.19.0 upgrade today, so hopefully that helps. Just gotta wait til after work to find out, only 9 more hours to go.

Sometimes my IPhone won't let Pandora sync...so I clear my IPhone of my open Pandora screen and power down my phone..then when it powers up Pandora is ready to sync and play...I never disconnect my phone from the bike for as long as I'm riding for the day,so if I stop several times it always restarts the last song that was playing...I don't text or post things so my IPhone never gets touched once its plugged in..and mine shows every album that's playing and time left on the song
