Default Tech Mount Techgripper and Note 4

After reading through numerous threads here and looking at the various phone mounts, im thinking the Techgripper might be worth a shot.
Just wondering if anyone here has one on their 2014 Ultra Limited using the control mount kit. From some of the pics i have seen, it looks like it might block the mirror somewhat.
Id like to use it in landscape mode if possible. Ill be mounting my Note 4 in it and its not a small phone. Anyone using this on their Limited with a Note 4/5 or Iphone 6+?
Also curious if anyone has ripped out the logo from the center of the mount and replaced it, painted it or done something to hide the logos.

I use it with a Galaxy S5 but in portrait mode. No problems with the mirror. Love the mount.

I'd quite like to get one of these to hold my iPhone. But do they really hold the phone so secure that it can't fall out? They just done look like they will. Looks are often deceptive of course.

The Techgripper is supposed to be one of the best out there, haven't heard anyone complain about losing their phone with one. You could've saved 20 bucks buying it at Bike Bandit instead of LAB, all positive reviews at BB & one of them said it holds the Note 4 securely. You do have to spend $100 to get free shipping, but there are some other doo dads I need so that's where I'm getting mine.

My phone mount is really good . The part that mounts to handle bar is metal not plastic. My son has the cheep mount on his street guide, after he saw what I had , he took back the words about me paying to much. His mount is plastic all of it .

I use mine on left side in portrait, with a Samsung Galaxy S6 in a Otterbox case. Works great. I have fairing mirrors and no problem. I have had it mounted in landscape mode. Still ok. Phone never slips. Great product.
